04/17/18 *****Please note***** Spectrum Internet Subscribers*****
Spectrum has started filtering streaming content to their customers. What this means is that StargateTV will not presently work on Spectrum Internet in Florida. This is beyond our control and not an issue with SGTV. This is also a gross mishandling, and abuse of power by a monopoly internet provider, and goes entirely against the current NET NEUTRALITY laws that are presently in place. The same laws that the FCC voted to overturn, but is being met with great opposition and so far still in place. This is the exact reason why we need NET NEUTRALITY. You have a couple options right now, if you are on Spectrum. #1 find a new Internet Provider. WOW and FRONTIER for this Area. Both are superior when it comes to price point and speeds. If you choose WOW, you can mention StargateTV when contacting our rep and receive hundreds in rebates and discounts. For WOW contact Miles Kovak at 727-612-1036. For Frontier visit www.frontier.com #2. If you are unfortunate enough to be in an area that affords you nothing but Spectrum, you can use a VPN service to bypass their networks. There are many VPN services out there and we will be providing our own soon for 5 dollars a month additional charge. #3 Unfortunately if you use the SP110 boxes there will be no way to install a VPN client and you will need VPN at your router Level. For this you will need to Purchase one of our custom configured wireless routers that will already be attached to our networks here. This will cost an additonal 125 dollars one time fee but will work for all devices on your network. The 5 dollar a month VPN subscription fee would still apply.
